Guitar Lessons and Music Tuition
Lessons are currently taught on a 1-1 basis either in your home or online. Lessons are available in three lengths: 30 minutes, 45 minutes and 60 minutes.

30 Minutes: Ideal for young children and absolute beginners who need help with the absolute basics like how to hold the instrument, learning how to get sound from the instrument and absolute beginner repertoire and technique.

45 Minutes: The most popular choice for students. Allows enough time to review prior knowledge and develop new skills without feeling rushed.
​
60 Minutes: Longer lessons for more in depth study. This is ideal for students who would like help with musical qualifications such as instrument grades, curricular music education support (GCSE, BTEC etc) or students who seek extra time to discuss other musical concepts in their guitar lessons like music theory, composition or production.

J. Ellis Guitar Tuition is now registering interest from parents and students who would like group lessons!
Groups would be made up of up to 4 students, and where applicable based on age and ability.
These lessons would be 20% cheaper than 1-1 lessons, at a rate of £20 for 45 minutes.
